3.1: The Departure

Location: The Mamak In front of The Penthouse

It was the time for our departure and to be honest, we were sad to leave this penthouse that we had grown used to. Yeah, we know that it had only been three days and you might thought us were just being emotional but YOU HAD NO IDEA how memorable this place actually were. :')

Our bus to Kuala Lumpur was scheduled at 10 a.m but at 9 o'clock in the morning, Akmar and Rabab were still in the shower. It was very late actually since the bus stop were pretty far from our penthouse and we should be panicking already but all of us were too soggy to have any emotion at all on that time. Once again, pretty Kak Dee was the super-woman of the day when she volunteered to give us a ride to the bus station. Love you Kak Dee :3

Looking at the time, we should all go straight to the bus stop since it was already 9.20 but The Mamak stall in front of the apartment was just too 'appealing' that we found it impossible to resist the call of the Mamak's deliciously irresistible roti canai.

'KAK DEE! CAN WE PLEASE STOP AT THE MAMAK AND EAT ROTI CANAI FOR A QUICK BITE? WE WONT FIND THIS LEGENDARY ROTI CANAI ANYWHERE IN KL AFTER THIS' :(

There. Rabab had no idea that later on she would regretted these line of words.

It was supposed to be an ordinary breakfast at mamak stall but boy, how upturned the luck would be!

It was an EPIC FAIL! We should not told this to all of you but these were too good not to be mentioned here!

Rabab literally FALL OUT of the car. Yup. We said it again. She fall out of the car right in the middle of the road, just like that. How could that even be possible, right?

*Caught you! FAIL lah Rabab*

We were all in rush to reach the bus station and needless to mention that we were all pretty late. As we reach the Mamak's place to have our breakfast, Rabab, in her effort NOT to be late, mindlessly step out of the car and with extreme giddiness said, 'come onnnn..!'

It turns out she could not finished her sentence as she accidentally fall out of the car and literally rolled on the floor. Apparently Kak Dee had not realised that Rabab was actually about to step out of the car while she was still trying to park her car. Rabab sprawl right on the road and it was a moment of silence for all of us. Honestly speaking, it was superbly awkward as we momentarily had no idea whether to laugh or help her.

'PONNNN PONNNN!"

Then there was this mad honking of a driver and our mind was snapped back to reality. While Rabab was still trying to get her balance back, there was this one car from the opposite impatiently honking at her for blocking the road(See people? We did not need to wear those red, revealing clothes to stop the traffic. We have our own way)

Anyway, how inconsiderate those people were, right?

"Couldn't they see my life was in jeopardy at that moment?? Mad Penang drivers!", cursed Rabab. She seemed pretty mad at first and we were contorting our faces in our best possible effort so as NOT to laugh at what had just happened before. Minutes after, when we were all sitting at the mamak stall, a small smile appeared on the corner of Rabab's mouth. That time we could not hold any much longer, we all exploded! We burst into roar of laughters.

"OMG THAT WAS SO FUNNY!"

"I WISH I MANAGE TO VIDEOTAPED WHAT HAD JUST HAPPENED!"

"RABAB DO IT AGAIN!"

Well, Rabab laughed the hardest. She must have realized the stupidity of the whole incident. Kak Dee, despite her vigorous apologies, could not help herself from joining in the laughter. When the mamak came, we could not even start ordering and we remembered in that midst of the unstoppable, hysterical laughter the mamak just smiled, shook his head, and said to us, "When you girls are ready to order, call me okay". (See! We told you the mamak is very niceee! ;)

(Rabab actually got few bruises on her palm and also her knees but she realized that later when we were all already in the bus)

Despite the 'tragedy', we were all enjoying our roti canai tremendously. Most of us ordered two roti canai to ourselves as we were very sure we would never find roti canai as good as this ever again. (Oh God, we can almost taste the roti canai in our tongue while writing this. We miss you Legendary Roti Canai! )

*Dayang & Aina going all gaga eating the legendary Roti Canai*
